Brand new. Ideal as a receiving antenna from 118 MHz through 1300 MHz. Segments extend from 6 to 17". The bottom contains a 90 degree tilt / swivel function. A MAJOR improvement over the standard rubber duck antennas included with scanners from Uniden. On all bands above and including the aircraft band the antenna exceeded or matched the performance of the standard rubber duck.

We've had great success with this short telescopic antenna with its native BNC mount on our other scanners. We found out that it was as good as the Remtronics rubber duck at half the price on 700 / 800 Mhz and much better on the lower frequencies even fully collapsed to its 6" length. Reception on the lower frequencies did improve slightly when the antenna was fully raised to its 17" length.
